Four generations, one refusal
Vedansh begins where most jewellery brands end their story: inside a Jaipur workshop that has shaped jewellery for brands worldwide for four generations. That kind of heritage usually produces one thing, more of the same. Beautiful. Correct. Safe. Vedansh started as a refusal to keep doing that.
Never quite standard
Our founder grew up inside that family workshop, sketching in the margins of a life that was supposed to be predictable. Then came Paris, Germany, the US, Singapore, Brazil, four continents in a handful of years, each one leaving behind a different instinct. He came back to Jaipur with all of it still in his pocket, and none of it fit the mould he had left behind either. So instead of trying to make it fit, he built something new around it. Vedansh did not start with jewellery, it started with eyewear, bejewelled, stone set, unapologetic, using the same hands that had spent generations on rings and necklaces. Every piece, sunglasses and jewellery alike, is still made this way, by hand, in our own family workshop in Jaipur. Nothing is outsourced.
Made for people who are not either
Vedansh exists for people who have never quite fit the mould, the ones who would rather be looked at twice than blend in once. A Vedansh piece can be worn with a wink and still be taken completely seriously, that is the whole point. Because every piece is handmade, no two ever come out quite identical.
